About Sukh Sagar Haveli, Jodhpur
Welcome to Sukh Sagar Haveli, a heritage property that has been my home since 2001. Tucked away from the busy streets of Jodhpur, this small haveli dating back to the late 1800’s lies on two and a half acres of land on the outskirts of the city. Framed by a large stone archway at the main gates, the beautiful haveli remains the focal point of the property. On either side of the magnificent entrance, bedrooms and living areas have been built around a central courtyard with views over the lawns. This symmetry allows for space and privacy for visiting guests. All suites have access to the many living spaces and open terraces on the grounds of the property. Guests can use the swimming pool whenever they feel the urge to take a dip!

All of our beautiful suites are decorated with the colours and richness of the Thar Desert. Bespoke furniture and vintage textiles bring each room to life, with interesting prints and paintings gracing the walls. Our Services
Breakfast is served from 8 to 10 AM, and it’s our favourite way to start the day with guests. Weather permitting, we will set the table on one of the terraces so you can enjoy the morning light and garden views. Otherwise, breakfast will be served in the dining room. Our in-house chef prepares a small but thoughtful selection each morning, using fresh, seasonal ingredients—and as much as possible is homemade.

Guests are welcome to wander freely throughout the haveli grounds, it is one of the quiet joys of staying here. Our organic vegetable garden is tucked away on the property, where we grow fresh, seasonal produce that often finds its way onto your plate. Birdsong is a constant companion, with a multitude of birds visiting throughout the day. You will also likely meet our two gentle German Shepherds, Kali and Coco, who are always around and more than happy to play or just keep you company.

Our housekeeping team ensures a fresh and comfortable environment. Bedsheets are changed every two to three days, depending on your stay duration, while towels are refreshed every second day, maintaining cleanliness and comfort throughout your visit.

We offer an in-house dining experience that is simple, fresh, and lovingly prepared—much like how we cook for family and friends. Dinner is served between 7 and 9 PM and is built around what is in season, often featuring vegetables from our own garden. Our specialty is Mediterranean cuisine, but we also serve a delicious Indian menu on request. All meals are set menus, prepared in our home kitchen. We are always happy to accommodate preferences when we can—with a little notice.

Our pool is open daily from 8AM to 7PM, and it’s one of our favourite places to relax. Surrounded by peaceful lawns and quiet courtyards, it’s a lovely spot to cool off, read a book, or simply unwind after a day out. You’re welcome to take a dip any time during pool hours—we just ask that you treat it like home.

If you are in the mood to truly unwind, we can arrange a massage with one of our trusted local therapists. Treatments are available on request and take place in a quiet corner of the haveli, designed to help you relax, reset, and let go of any travel tension.

OUT AND ABOUT
Camel Safari with Desert Sundowner & BBQ Dinner
Drive for an hour and a half into the desert to reach the dunes in time for a camel ride and a cocktails as the sun goes down. A typical Desert Dinner will be served at a luxury camp before heading back on the road to Jodhpur.
Bishnoi Village Safari by jeep (3-4hrs)
Includes tracking black buck and other wildlife, traditional water pot making, block printing, weaving of dhurries, and a village lunch.
